Nabila Ayu Aviani (b. 2000) is an Indonesian artist raised in the United Arab Emirates and based in The Hague, Netherlands. In 2023, she graduated with a BA in Fine Arts from the Royal Academy of Art (KABK). In her figurative paintings, she intersects themes of identity, memory, and displacement. Through dynamic compositions, she explores how human relationships influence our sense of belonging. Blurring the lines between the platonic and the romantic, her provocative paintings are rooted in feminism. Aviani challenges social constructs of femininity and the performative self through a lens of youthful hedonism and sarcasm.
